The services of MSME Global Mart are available to Indian MSMEs on annual subscription basis. A full featured trial of membership is available for 30 days to entrepreneurs Free-of-Cost. The registration process to the portal has been made completely online and paperless during the Covid-19 pandemic. The services can also be availed through MSME Global Mart App which can be downloaded from Google Play store. The services of MSME Global Mart are also available on the UMANG Mobile App, a digital initiative of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), intending to make government services available to the general public online and around the clock.

 

Initiative taken by MSME Global Mart portal during the F.Y. 2020-21 in order to facilitate the MSMEs are as follows: -

1.       Special Promotional offer in Pandemic: A special offer drive of 50% discounted on Membership fee of NSIC B2B portal MSME Global Mart was launched in FY 20-21 during last year Pandemic, in order to increase beneficiaries and provide online marketing support to more and more MSMEs. Also, Renewal Grace period was also extended from 30 to 90 days, enabling Free & Expired units to upgrade & renew their membership during that period. Offer was published in in all leading Newspapers by Ministry of MSME with Hon’ble Prime Minister’s photograph which resulted in to addition of 206% more beneficiaries during 1^st Quarter (Apr-June) of COVID Lockdown as compared to same period last year.

 

2.       FREEmembership: Extension of Trial Period of Free Membership from 7 to 30 days enabling units more time to explore benefits of the portal.

 

3.       Paperless Online Registration Tool: This initiative was taken during pandemic to facilitate Filed Offices for registering New MSMEs on NSIC B2B portal MSMEmart. Using this online tool Field officials can now register MSMEs online without filling a single paper for providing them much needed Marketing support. It is very useful in situations like COVID, Strikes etc.

 

4.       Special offers on Healthcare Services of Major Hospital Groups: NSIC has realised other needs of MSMEs during pandemic scenario apart from their business needs and to cater them, NSIC entered into MoU with four major Hospital Groups Apollo, Max, Fortis & Metro for providing attractive discounts to MSME Global Mart registered members & their dependants on various medical services like Investigation, In-patient services, preventive health check-ups etc.

5.       Mobile App of MSME Global Mart is being promoted and has been already downloaded by 38,000 internet users, has been rated 4.5+ ratings by users.

 

6.       MoU with TRIFED (Ministry of Tribal Affairs) has been signed for Promoting TRIBAL Artisans /Entrepreneurs and providing a much-needed Marketing Support to them.

7.       “Award of Contract (AOC)” information has been introduced on the portal to gives insights to MSMEs for deciding the price of their products/services & compete better in the public procurement process.

 

8.       Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Enabled Digital Services Facilitation has been launched on MSME Global Mart to facilitate MSMEs in terms of Technology adoption and achieve higher business efficiencies, business automation and compliances with special offer & transparent and affordable prices on the services.

 

The Corporation after having launched the ICT Enabled Digital Services Facilitation in FY 2020-21 has so far empanelled few leading service providers namely M/s Adaequare Info Private Limited, (Ubooks) M/s Dun & Bradstreet Information Services Private Limited, M/s Bharti Airtel Limited and M/s Zoho Technologies Private Limited.

 

The present range of products/services includes Accounting & GST compliance software, Sales & Marketing information for domestic & export markets, ICT service including data, cloud, security & video conferencing and cloud based business software suite. 9.       MSME Global Mart has been on-boarded on UMANG, a digital initiative of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) which has more than 4cr users for having an outreach to masses.
